FC Rosengård is the most successful club in Swedish women's football history, having won a record 14 Damallsvenskan titles — most recently in 2024. The club's history stretches back to 1970 when it was established as Malmö FF Dam, the women's section of Malmö FF. The team left Malmö FF in 2007, rebranding as LdB FC Malmö, and in 2013 merged with FC Rosengård 1917 to adopt its current name. Throughout these transformations, the on-pitch excellence has been remarkably consistent, with league titles spanning from the 1980s through to 2024. FC Rosengård play at Malmö IP, a historic stadium in central Malmö that has served as the home for women's football in the city since 2006.
