Kristianstads DFF is a women's football club from Kristianstad in southern Sweden, founded on 5 November 1998 through the merger of the women's sections of local clubs Kristianstads FF and Wä IF. Originally named Kristianstad/Wä DFF before being renamed in 2006, the club made their Damallsvenskan debut in 1999 and have been a fixture in Sweden's top women's division since returning from a spell in Division 1 Södra in 2007. The club plays at Kristianstads Fotbollsarena, a purpose-built venue inaugurated on 14 April 2018 that features a hybrid grass pitch and seating for 1,280 in the main stand, with a total capacity of 3,080. The modern facility has given the club a strong home base to compete at the highest level. Kristianstads DFF have produced notable players including Therese Sjögran and Nilla Fischer, demonstrating the club's importance as a development pathway in Swedish women's football. Kristianstads DFF have been one of the more consistent Damallsvenskan performers in recent seasons, achieving third-place finishes in 2020 and 2021 and multiple fourth-place finishes. The 2026 Damallsvenskan season sees Kristianstad competing once again among Sweden's elite, continuing their steady presence at the top level of Swedish women's football for over a quarter of a century.
