Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer 04 Leverkusen Women compete in the Frauen-Bundesliga and carry a rich heritage in German women's football. The women's section was established on 1 July 2008 when Bayer Leverkusen integrated the women's department from TuS Koln rrh. The club's deeper roots trace back to SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach, which dominated German women's football in the 1970s and 1980s with nine national championships and three DFB-Pokal titles under its former identity. Leverkusen Women play their home matches at the Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion in Leverkusen, adjacent to the main BayArena, with the club's performance centre located at Kurtekotten. The Bayer Leverkusen Women roster for 2025-26 is led by standout forward Vanessa Fudalla, who has established herself as one of the Frauen-Bundesliga's top scorers. Carlotta Wamser and Selina Ostermeier provide additional quality, while the squad benefits from the resources and infrastructure of the Bayer 04 parent club. Bayer Leverkusen Women earned promotion to the Frauen-Bundesliga in 2010 and have remained a competitive mid-to-upper-table presence. Their best DFB-Pokal run came in 2021-22, reaching the semi-finals. Check the Bayer Leverkusen Women schedule for upcoming Frauen-Bundesliga fixtures, or view the full squad for the 2025-26 season.
