Le Havre AC Féminin is the women's section of Le Havre Athletic Club, one of France's oldest and most respected football institutions. The women's section was established in the 2010s under the leadership of club president Jean-Michel Kociszewski, initially welcoming young beginners before opening its doors to licensed players in 2014 and registering formal youth teams. By 2015, the section had grown to 90 players across all age categories, and the first official competitive match was played on 27 September 2015. Le Havre women's rapid ascent through the French football pyramid has been one of the great development stories of recent years. During the 2017-18 season, the squad was reinforced with eight American college players, and the team achieved a near-perfect Régional 1 campaign with 22 wins, one draw, 146 goals scored and just seven conceded. The club reached the Coupe de France Féminine quarter-finals in 2018 and advanced to the semi-finals in the 2024-25 edition, showing steady progress in both league and cup competition. Le Havre play their home matches at the modern Stade Océane, a 25,178-capacity arena that provides one of the best matchday experiences in French women's football. The 2025-26 squad has 36 players with an average age of 22.9, reflecting the club's emphasis on youth development and long-term growth as they establish themselves in the Première Ligue.
