The third round of Arkema Ligue 1 Féminine brought true football excitement to fans in France. There was everything, early goals, a hat-trick in the great classic, red-card drama, and real goal fests. The highlight, of course, was the top clash Lyon vs. PSG, billed as a battle of giants. Paris FC 2–0 Saint-Étienne
The Parisians set the tempo from the start and used set pieces to build their advantage. A second-half goal sealed the game, with Saint-Étienne unable to respond.

Heaps made it 2–1, before Korbin Shrader completed a hat-trick in just 15 minutes, proving her class. Chawinga added the icing on the cake in stoppage time.
