Bay FCAbout Denver Summit FC
Denver Summit FC shattered the NWSL all-time attendance record with 63,004 fans at their home opener at Empower Field at Mile High on March 28, 2026 — a staggering figure that demonstrated the massive appetite for women's professional soccer in Colorado. The expansion club debuted in the 2026 NWSL season after paying a league-record $110 million expansion fee, the highest in NWSL history. Coached by Nick Cushing, formerly of Manchester City Women, Denver Summit FC has assembled a competitive roster for their inaugural campaign featuring international signings like Nahikari Garcia (Spain), Pauline Peyraud-Magnin (France), and Yuzuki Yamamoto (Japan). The club's logo features mountain imagery reflecting Denver's Mile High identity, and the team has quickly connected with Colorado's outdoor-loving, sports-passionate community. Empower Field at Mile High, the 76,125-seat venue also home to the NFL's Denver Broncos, provides a dramatic backdrop for Denver Summit FC games. While the club will eventually seek a more intimate permanent home, the record-breaking debut has set the tone for what promises to be one of the NWSL's most exciting new franchises.
