Seattle Reign FC are one of the NWSL's original clubs, having competed in every season since the league's 2013 inauguration. Formerly known as OL Reign (2020-2023) during a period of ownership by Olympique Lyonnais, the club reverted to the Seattle Reign FC name to reconnect with its Pacific Northwest roots and local identity. The Reign play at Lumen Field, the iconic 69,000-seat venue they share with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and MLS club Seattle Sounders.
