Everton vs Aston Villa — Women's Super League Live Score

Historic Venues and Modern Ambition

Goodison Park remains one of English football's grandest cathedrals, and it now serves as the permanent home for Everton Women. Following the men's departure to Bramley-Moore Dock, the women's outfit carries the torch inside this storied Liverpool stadium, adding a historic backdrop to every WSL fixture staged on its turf. This Sunday, the Toffees step onto the pitch to test their credentials against a formidable visiting side.

Aston Villa arrive on Merseyside looking to assert their presence. Since earning promotion to the top flight in 2020 and establishing their own home footprint at Villa Park, the Birmingham outfit has steadily evolved. Guided by manager Natalia Arroyo, Villa bring a potent attacking setup capable of dismantling rigid backlines on any afternoon.

Attacking Firepower Meets Defensive Resolve

The tactical battle promises intrigue in every sector. At the sharp end for the visitors stands captain Rachel Daly, whose instinct in the penalty area makes her an omnipresent threat alongside the pace of Kirsty Hanson. To blunt that offensive edge, the hosts rely on the commanding presence of Irish international Courtney Brosnan between the posts, while Japanese international Honoka Hayashi dictates tempo and crafts chances further upfield.

History between these two shows a competitive, tightly contested duel across recent encounters. Across five meetings, the Merseysiders hold a slender advantage with two victories compared to one for the West Midlands side, alongside two stalemates. Little has separated the teams previously, setting up an intense Everton vs Aston Villa clash in Round 7. Both camps possess the technical quality to dominate, making Everton W vs Aston Villa W a tactical showcase under the Goodison lights.
