Manchester City

Manchester City Women are one of the dominant forces in English women's football, currently leading the 2025-26 Women's Super League standings. Founded in 1988 as Manchester City Ladies, the club has grown into a fully professional outfit backed by the City Football Group. The Manchester City Women squad plays at the Joie Stadium (formerly Academy Stadium, renamed in 2023), a purpose-built facility at the Etihad Campus. The Manchester City Women schedule this season has been defined by ruthless attacking football under head coach Andree Jeglertz. Jamaican striker Khadija Shaw has been the standout performer, breaking records with the fastest hat-trick in WSL history. The Manchester City Women roster features world-class talent including Vivianne Miedema, Aoba Fujino, Lauren Hemp, Kerolin, and Kerstin Casparij. With a commanding lead at the top of the WSL table, City are on course to end Chelsea's six-year stranglehold on the title. The club's ambition extends beyond domestic dominance, with regular Champions League campaigns and a track record of reaching the European semi-finals.
