About London City Lionesses
London City Lionesses are the WSL's newest club, winning the 2024-25 Women's Championship to earn promotion. Founded in May 2019 as a breakaway from Millwall Lionesses, the club was acquired in December 2023 by Michele Kang (also owner of Washington Spirit). The squad plays at Hayes Lane in Bromley. Despite being WSL newcomers, the Lionesses have made a major statement with signings including Danielle van de Donk, Kosovare Asllani, Nikita Parris, Grace Geyoro, and Katie Zelem.
